Plasma cutting is utilized for precise cutting of steel and other metals of varying thicknesses, such as in HVAC, construction, fabrication, artwork, and more. This method involves using compressed air and an electrical arc for cutting, making it easy to learn and ideal for accurate cuts, typically limited to a 2” cutting capacity.

Using worn consumables can not only damage the metal but also lead to costly torch failures and unnecessary downtime. Incorrect consumables can shorten the lifespan of parts and decrease the quality of cuts. The plasma cutting electrodes provided are compatible with all Forney plasma cutting torches and come in a set of two with a diameter of 0.65 mm.

This set is best suited for use with Forney plasma cutters models 251, 302, 303, and 317, and can cut into materials such as mild steel, cast steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. These high-quality Forney plasma electrode cutting tips are durable replacement parts that can easily keep your project moving forward with a simple change out.
